At worst youll just end up wasting a cd.

Im quite sure that your drive is listed as being able to do 99min.

i have the liteon 52/24/52 and its listed as being able to do99min and its not much newer then your drive.

also i have never heard of anyone breaking their drive by overburning. so i would assume that, such occurances would be rare, and most likely on old drives.

I have just bought a Asus CDR-5224A and Nero 5.592
I tried the nero CDspeed overburning test and on one of my old 80 min CDR (24X) it said it was a ritek disc and I could only overburn an extra 1 min 54 secs.
A newer 80 min CDR(48X) & Nero said it was made by prodisc and it also sugested that I could overburn by at least 19 mins 57.74 secs any comments would be apreciated
