This is off a site that sells 'em:
The Original Apple-x New Version 2.0!
First and only Xbox mod chip with 100% of the features
Easiest Installation of any Xbox chip on the market
Only 1 very easy wire to solder
Less than 10 minutes to install - seriously.
Direct Boot all Xbox backups
Direct Boot all original imports
Macro vision Protection turned off
DVD Dongle lock off
100% Evolution-X compatible
New v2.0 compatible with ALL version Xbox!
No reset on eject hack
HDD patch to add larger Xbox hard drive
Works on all Xbox models!

They look relatively the same to me.
I'm looking to get one or the other soon.

Sounds like a socketed homebrew PLC chip thats mounted on a PCB with a header socket that plugs into the board - just like a cheapmod.

It will basically let you flash the chip with whatever 256k BIOS you want.

In essence its different to x-ecuter1 because it can be re-flashed from the evox dash with any bios you wish.

There's no difference between the x2 and this chip in functionality - especially if the x2 code has been flashed onto the LPC chip.
