i dont know how much clearer i can get then that dude. try other media or another burning software, if youve made succesfull backups before use the same media and the same burning software. keep trying. i used a dvd-rw that had minr scraches on it, the stand alone dvd player had a little trouble booting it up at first for some reason, but after that it worked fine.

I have tried with the media that i have used before to make backups. Still its a no go. I have tried burning with nero and primo. I decrypt with dvddecryptor then use the dvd2one by choosing the folder where files are stored then choose a output folder. Then choose what audio then and the movie, etc. Hit go and when i am done take redone files put them in the video folder that nero makes and burn to dvd-rw or dvd-r. And every time i do it my pc dvd drive and standalone dvd player will not play it.

I am not sure how often i wrote this: When Burning a self ripped DVD with Nero, create the folders VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS on your hd (they have to be in CAPS), put all your dvd files (vob's, ifo's , bup's) you created in the VIDEO_TS folder.
Fire up Nero and select DVD(UDF)...DONT USE DVD-VIDEO.
Now drag&drop the VIDEO_TS and the AUDIO_TS folder you created into the dvd-window....and then..... burn baby burn.....
If you used the DVD-Video Mode with Nero, maybe your pc will play the disc but not the standalone player....

I have been looking for a program like this for along time, at the moment it take like 8 hours for me to encode 90mins of video.
All I want to know is can you keep the original chapters and menus.

Fantastic little program .. it made a backup of Enemy at the Gates (2h10m) in about 35 minutes, and running it on a 33" TV I couldnt tell any quality differance, with 5.1 and Dolby audio tracks.
