Thanks, thought I might need the others to make the dvd and get the chapters but I guess DVD2one creates its own ifo files.

can i use dvd2one as just another dvd authoring program? Does it just do a simple copy if the movie size is already below 4.7 dvdr limit?

Ok I ripped just the vob files and when I open the folder where they are with DVD2one there is nothing in the next part, what are the settings I should have SmartRipper set too because im sure there should be some sort of ifo file to tell it about the different subtitles and soundtracks.

try ***********.dvddecrypter.com/ instead of Smartripper.

once DVD2one has finished place all the files it created in a folder called VIDEO_TS (caps!) make a empty folder called AUDIO_TS and burn both folders to a DVD.

SmartRipper and DVD Decrypter are more or less exactly the same program and I know about the folders and how to burn them mate as I do dvdrs all the time, I just want to know if any other files have to be ripped from your dvd apart from the vobs and if they have to be in a folder called VIDEO_TS when they are selected in DVD2one, I tried opening a dvdr I have my my hard drive which has ifo files and is in a folder called VIDEO_TS and DVD2one picked it up so there is something extra I have to do apart from just rip off the vobs.
