Exactly why I'm running both, I like the Norton interface and the familiarity of it but also have the added security of McAfee. I've used Norton for years now and running both on several different os's has never caused me any problems

Maybe, but obviously useless.
What is the point of installing two virus scanners when one of them won't detect all virii?
McAfee will detect ALL those that Nortons fails to detect, yet Nortons will not detect any that McAfee won't.

Thats a valid point, however it's all down to personal preference and taste, and perhaps a degree of paranoia.....

hi i got to say nortons virus protector is very good
to use
its caught everything that has tried to get onto the
pc
dont forget to make it run 100% you alter the settings
to scan those files

if u are running two virus protector u might have
problems with the pc locking up or infact making
the other one stop running

i would simply have one running all the time
and the other one to bring up normal to scan for
virus

backup2k1(the name u can trust)
