so you are saying that you had evox on your HD b4 right? now you have it on disc and you want to put it back? do the same thing you did when you put it on initally. ftp connect to xbox.

If you didnt put it on yourself. xbox-scene has tutorials for that too.

i believe there are 2 ways of doing it. u can use an ftp client such as flashFXP, and connect to xbox via PC, browse to the C drive, rename the xboxdash.xbe to xboxdash_old.xbe. then browse the D drive of the xbox, and copy the default.xbe to the C drive, and rename it to xboxdash.xbe. VOILA now when you boot, you will have the evox dash.

another way to do it without connecting xbox--->PC is usign a utility called Boxplorer, (i think) I never used it b4 so i cant help you there. do a search for it. also on xbox-scene. Good Luck.

P.S. boxplorer is built with the SDK, so you cannot ask where to get it from.

not true.
i have mine flashed with xecuter 4974 bios with evoxnamed evoxdash.xbe my original xbox dash left alone, locked my hd with config magic and whenever my chip becomes unalligned (as it has been doing alot lately :-) )
the ms bios kick in and it runs like an unmodded console

indeed that would make sense, if his BIOS supports dual dashboards. he hasnt told us which chip he's using. my guess would be if he bought a pre-modded system, it has some sort of soldered chip. but i could be wrong
