Yeah, while you are busy trying to turn around the otherguys with broadband will be blowing you to pieces. I can't tell you how many times with Combat RPGs I have gotten killed not because I wasn't moving fast enough but that my modem connection was so slow that it took forever to process turning around and aiming at my oponent.

modem play with xbox is impossible. the games require way to much upload speed, especially Halo. I even had trouble playing with DSL sometimes.

Imagine how slow it would be with dial-up!!!!

I think the moral of the story is either get broadband or stay offline.
