Well, the chip seems to function for 4 hours. It's probably just that the wire came loose again. If you never changed the dash etc. Most likely check the solder points again.

somehow the dashboard got erased. try reinstalling the orginal ms dashboard

how do u do that without a chip.. do i nead to add one first?
if so is there anyotherway

you are saying that there is no chip, and you are getting a dashboard error??? really weird. something must have been broken. maybe something isnt plugged in tight, other than that it should be fine if you didnt alter it in any way.

the only way to check the integtrity of the files on the HD is to install a chip, and check it out.

check power and ide connections. pull them out and reconnect them. try replacing the ide cable.

if its not that, then the hard drive could be damaged or files corrupt. best way to sort it out at that point woul dbe to install a chip then you could sort out the dashboard
