I think the Magic 3 and the Messiah 2 (v1.08) have tought us all to wait a couple of months after a supposedly fully tested chip comes out. There are bound to be revisions no matter what...

i wont be bothering with the dms i dont think, holding button down when you start it just seems too m uch to me, its like doing a cheat or something in a game - irritating! you can get a divX player for the ps2 anyway without that chip (divX is crap anyway) macrovision disabled, well you can get a macro mod for about 3 - i dont see the point in this feature either. green screen - do the green screen fix!!

ok so you cant do the green screen fix on a V7 ps2 but i just dont see why this chip is worth 20 more than a messiah 2...

I agree with briny_uk. it cost way too much and the booting is a pain. However, i still will try to sample one and see it for myself.

Wonder if I should go for one, price is a little steep. The only thing that I am worrying about is if Sony releases antimod games, but on second thought, back in the PSX days, these antimod checks were usually removed in the scene releases and/or were easily patched, so I may go with a real Magic3.1 or Messiah2.

Dms3 defaults in PS2 mode, so no need to hold a button down.
