well if that would have to be done in order to play GC backups im pretty sure everyone would go and do so cuz of the how much money theyll be savin.

Its kinda like how the N64 was, it was never able to play it by itself but when fitted wit z64 or whatever it could play it from that. I bet itll proly have to be played the way banzai said.

I imagin so, but would you have a dvd drive sticking out from the inside with a cable of sorts. Or some how fit it to the bottom like the gameboy player.
