is there any copy protection to copy protect the .dat file on a VCD?

No. Dat files must be unaltered for them to be playable.

heh, can you actually get a vcd to play good on a dc? my poor machine couldnt handle it

1/ Why would you want to protect it.. unless it is your own copyright?

2/ Yes. You create dummy files on the disc by messing with the cue sheet. But only muppets will have trouble overcoming it.

um if u can rip dvd's then u can rip vcd's....wat's the point of putting copt protection on

I dont think there is anyway out there to protect vcd's. I think even the industry ones arent copy protected
