Default need help shifting a virus

i have got the w32.hllp.handy virus

norton cant shift its in here C:\_RESTORE\TEMP\A0075016.CPY

just keeps saying cant delete any ideas guys ??

I may be wrong but off the top of my head I would try one of two options...

either boot to dos change to a c: prompt then del _RESTORE\TEMP\A0075016.CPY

or boot in safe mode and try to delete.

yeah you right. I was having trouble locating the link, here it is:

It has a few aliases, all the info you should need to get rid of it, is here.

Watch out for .exes you download from Kazaa, although AVG detected it for me, it never detected it as soon as I downloaded it, so a bit dodgy. Prevention, as they say, is better than cure.

Scan your drives thoroughly, turn off system restore in XP before you do this. And when done, put system restore back on, do a load of system restore saves to wipe the system restore files (often these are the files that are infected).
