rip the .dat file to your h/d with vcdgear as .mpeg then re burn with nero.
if you still get errors then the file may be corrupt on vcd.
also isobuster is known to extract where others have failed

If you cannot extract the raw .dat file then the disc has problems and making a copy will be difficult.

i always copy the .dat file to the hard drive, open nero, use the wizard to setup for a vcd, browse to the .dat file in the left pane, then drag & drop it into the right frame, let it verify it, and then burn. if that doesn't work for you, convert the .dat to .mpg with vcdgear (or something similar) before you go to nero. or just rename it from .dat to .mpg, that always works for me. good luck.
