BINGO!

Ive got a new floppy and I am back on track. Porble now is I have no idea how to create a pure DOS disk under Windows XP. Is it possible to flash BIOS with a standard windws 98 boot disk?

Just rightclick the drive in explorer, select format & tick the create MSDOS startup disk option. It creates a disk with WinME DOS.
If you have a Win98 boot floppy to hand that will work just as well.
