Default Hard Drive Problem,Win Xp Reading 160gb Hard Drive As 32gb


 
as above

ive tried deleting the partion using windows xp disk,tried formatting the drive using the windows xp disk,tried formatting it in win xp itself and it is still showing up as only being a 32gb hard drive when its a western digital 160gb

not sure if its something youve already looked into - i remember having a similar problem but it was a while back - on that occasion i think it was an incorrect jumper setting on the back of my 120gb hdd - afraidf icant remeber more than that though!

Jumper settings more than likley they can limit the hard drive pull it out and have a look jumper settings these should be shown on the case.
