Question How do I close or secure open Proxy Servers????


 
I want to make sure my pc is secure.
Please give your advice on:
How do I close or secure open Proxy Servers?

A little bit more info may help. How do you know you have an insecure proxy server where you disallowed access to irc or something? And what os are you using?

But first off are you running a proxy server?

If your not then you better do a virus and trojan scan your most likely being used as a zombie bot.

If you are running a proxy server it will depend on which one your using on how to configure it but you need to configure it to only allow connections from your lan.
