I dont' understand. What does the user have to gain if they 'agree' to letting this company access there computer?

Hmm...

Frankly, i'd like to see a company (or government group) put in place a program that uses the extra processing power and resources of computers by users that agree to the program, and get paid to do so (something small such as a few cents per hundred cycles, not a ton, but enough to be called pay). The program would send encrypted data packets to be processed and sent back, and counted towards the reimbursement checks, sent out every 3 months. Similar to the SETI at home system, but on a pay basis. Would solve alot of funding problems companies have for purchasing new computers, and could put alot of those old retired machines to use.

I now understand what Brilliant Dig stand for. I use kazza, and adaware always grabs there garbage from my registry and elsewhere. There not going to use me, thanks to adaware!!
