ive been running mine with backups for a year with no problem. i think it sounds a little quieter with originals though

I guess he means it cost 3 cents to manufacture, not that it sells for 3 cents. But anyway, unanmed brands usually sell from 25 cents to 1 dollar.

i played dc backups for a good while now and the dc is fine.
but if you are worried about your dc, like me, just buy another one like i did
i got mine off ebay for about $30
