Default ps2 hardrive upgrades?

 
is there hardrive like the way xbox does it or ps2 drive is different or can you get a 120gb drive for the ps2 as well.

ps2 has no hard drive, and i dont think one is being release soon. you can get the linux kit though

I have heard some rumors about one being released but other than the 40GB that comes with the Linux kit I don't know of one that is out there. The only other one that I know of is the 120GB one that is going into the PSX being released next year.

Thay plan to release the Offical PS2 Harddrive when Final Fantasy 11 comes out.

There are teams that have NON Sony Harddrives working with the PS2, but are working out all the bugs before they release the info on how to do it.

quite a few people already have the HDD....
the beta testers of final fantasy 11 received a free HDD...
