this was so easy to do. hit xox scene as stated above they have all of the details there.

However what people need to remember is it's far from a perfect solution if you use it to play with EvoX or Linux because there is no easy way to get back to the original dashboard. You will loose it.

This means that you wont be able to reset the clock which at first may not seem too bad but if your box looses the time for whatever reason, next time you power up things won't work and you will have no dash. Also means you can't rip music or access your saves easily.

But there are also many plus points so do your research and decide if you want to try it.

Yeah I still think this is a pretty big breakthrough but by altering the setup of the HD and loading lunix arent you voiding the warranty anyway, so you might as well install a mod anyway \

Well, yes and no. You don't have to format the drive for linux now, you can run EvoX or boot straight to backup games which means no alterations other than renaming two files and installing two new ones which can be reversed easily.

What I was thinking of doing, was ftping the files to the xbox hd but making a backup of he original file incase something goes wrong later,,, I need to know if this is possible and how to do so. and i don't know anyone with a chipped xbox.
