I just picked up InstantCD/DVD for $39.99 plus there is a $40 rebate.I was told there was going to be an upgraders price to ver 8.

Instant copy 7 and 8 is different than Instant CD/DVD

Instant CD/DVD contains Instant Copy 7,according to Pinnacle!It is just that it is a SUITE of programs also included.

That is so and it represents better value too, v8 will also be in the same flavour.

But don't *ever* try and put cd/dvd onto your system before uninstalling your copy of IC if present. Yes.... I do know someone that tried that and he had to call his friend Mr Refomat in.

have had instant copy 8 for a couple of weeks now-havnt got around to trying it yet but wit all thats been said on the front page im gona try it today!!!

Interesting. I had IC7 installed and then installed cd/dvd without uninstalling IC7. Never had any probs though. Just to play safe I have uninstalled both progs ok with no probs, rebooted, installed IC8, rebooted and everything is 100%. Lucky escape from reformat - maybe but using XP and less aggro caused with XP.
