sh*t sorry man- both my tv's (one which is about 10 years old) can play an ntsc signal without any problems, i assumed the reverse was the same (i'm based in the uk)

have you restarted your xbox? or are you still at the enigmah mode screen? if not can you make out enough of the screen to get yourself back there to correct the problem?

What dash are you running?

If it is evox, When i get home i'll try and what button commands you need to get to the video mode selector.

Once again i'm really sorry-i better edit any of the threads where i've told people to use the video mode selector

I was able to guess my way back to NTSC. Should I try it on a different TV? Is there something else I can do, a patch perhaps?

there is a patch i think but the ntsc version has also been released- i'm not sure if the patch was 100% successful- just done a quick search on xbox scene it seems there is apatch on there but no ideas where to get it from

I'm not sure about what the deal is with us tv's, over here in the uk i can pass an ntsc signal to any of my pal tv's and all my other friends do too- generally all games come out ntsc first so the vast majority of games are ntsc

however i dot not know what the deal is over in the us- is your tv particularly old? like >7 years (i'm just picking a number- not that something particularly changed back then)

I reckon it'd be easier to get hold of the ntsc version of the game rather than trying to find that patch personally
