the Bios was already a 1MB. DO I need to flash it to 2 banks or just bank 1? The switch only goes to 2 banks not 4

no i cannot, its against the rules. did u make the 1mb bios yourself. or was it from someplace else?

its always good practice to get an original bios release (256k image), and modify it yourself.

Then use x-ecuter bios manager, or equivelant and make it 1mb file or just flash the 256k image, and it goes to all 4 banks.

also check out xbox-scene.com for tutorials on bios flashing, and creating 1mb files

yes, if you have a good 256k image, it will flash to all banks.

the benefit of modifiing a bios to 1mb, is that you can make a dual bios. for example combining 2 different bios image into 1 file. thus it flashes half the bios to banks 1&2, and the other half to 3&4. thus you are able to switch between the two
