It probably edited your host file then........I'm sure someone mentioned removing or editing it earlier in the thread

Hey gooner m8, Thanks for that link to Symantec Tool. It has cleared few entries from my registry. I have also updated my browser with SP1 and everything is just fine.

No worries m8 You are more than welcome - I am very confident that you would have found it by yourself....but it is nice when someone has already done the legwork, so I know what you mean. - pretty messy for the average user that one from what I briefly read - changing DNS settings, editing local host files and general unorthodox entries on the volume and registry

ya! Don't understand how I missed the registry part. Everything else was already done.
