Cheers vinnie you know exactly what i am on about as we both was stuck with the same problem, do you know weather the liteon 24x will do what i need. thanks keymaster for your input but im after what burner will convert mp3+g to cd+g.

your right keymaster i would never use cdrwin for doing straight copies, i was only pointing out the limitations. i don't really know that much about the liteon other than what i've read on the boards but it seems that some people have no problems while others can't do CD+G or can't compile. anyway good luck mate i hope you get what you need

whats a good burner (preferably a 24x) but cheapest to do mp3+g to cd+g? or shall i stick to getting the plextor?

Cheers Keymaster - that was a very impressive reply to my whinge about my new plekky!!

I have run the Nero CD Speed test that came with the drive and the average read speed is approx 17.2x
( not 40x as advertised or 32X as your example shows

So I guess I have a problem somewhere !

Any suggestions anyone?

I run a Celeron 500 with 128mb RAM and plenty of free disc space?

i reckon you can't go wrong with a plextor 2seconds. i never burn CD+G any faster than 4x though

so do you recon just get a cheaper plextor say 16x or even less as ill only use it to do cd+g
