Default Has anyone else seen the DMS3 problem before?

sponsored links

Some background: a V7 PS2, modded with a DMS 3. The mod was good, all connections good, wires that needed to be separated were separated. Basically what I'm getting at is the mod install is not the problem. Here's what happened. The system worked great for a couple of weeks, then one day the dreaded "black screen" no eject button light problem occured. All on board fuses are good. Chip was removed, same problem. Anyone else seen this before?

I've done a bunch now too, and haven't had problems on any others. This is the first time I've seen the "black screen" for virtually no reason.

I was thinking the same about the BA. Is there anyway to test these w/o ripping it out and putting a new one in?

Probably BA chip. If you removed the mod, and you still get the same symptoms, then it's the BA chip.
