Default Question reguarding Pioneer DVD burners...

sponsored links

I know the A0 series is recommended for burning backups for PS2 games, namely the A03 and A04...but what about the newer models, A05 and A06....are they just as good or what? Cause if so, I'd rather get them.

Please lemme know, I appreciate the help.

they should work just the same. ive heard some complaints about the A05 though, so its probably not the best for dvd backing up.

by the way nice user name, kdx is a cool program =)

Why not pick up the OEM 106 (bare drive version of the A06) as it will save you some $ (or pounds if you are in the UK). You will pretty much have to pick up the 106/A06 now as the 105/A05 has been discontinued. They are both great drives provided you don't try to use them as all-in-one units (read/burn) which you shouldn't do no matter what DVD Burner you get.

In December, Pioneer is releasing A07 version which will drive A06 price down.

Oem 106 version is Cdn. $ 203 up in Canada and waiting as a Xmas gift to myself to buy this.

I would advise to wait till A07 is released. How much does Oem 106 cost in US ...New Jersey.
