sponsored links

say, for example, i have a blank dvd-r disc with no labels what so ever and i want to find out what media it is (if that is at all possible), how would i go about doing that?

are there any programs that could tell me the media type or wether the dye is gen-o3 or gen-04?

thanks

Sure if you have DVD Decrypter (www.dvddecrypter.com) you can simply pop in the blank DVD-R and it will give you the manufacterer info.

Yes but dvdinfopro will allow you to do much more than just finding out the brand of your media.

So will DVD Decrypter. DVD Decrypter allows you to Decrypt factory DVDs so that they can be burned with Nero or Recordnow Max. DVD Decrypter will also read and write ISO files. So if a movie already fits on a DVD-R without having to compress then you just read in ISO mode to the HD and then write it in ISO mode back to DVD-R. Anyways both programs would be worth having as they are both useful.
