Default Good "first-time boot" media?

sponsored links

i've decided to transfer my PS2 games from the cheaper media (which causes problems) to grade-A media that boots as if its a normal game. after discussing the issue here: ***********.cdrom-guide.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=260878

=================================================

what would you recommend as a "first-time boot" media?

i have several Verbatim dvd-r and every single one boots first time, no skipping, no freezing, no clicking of the laser, no problems what-so-ever.

Verbatim are, however, harder to find and therefore a little more expensive. is there an alternative? Anyone have any good experiences with dvd-r media that they could recommend (in the UK)?

are these any good:

{DV 370} Traxdata 4X DVD-R in tubs of 10
{DV 371/25} Ritek 1x to 4x Inkjet Printable DVD-R in pack of 25
from www.blankdiscshop.couk

thanks, your opinion would be very much appreciated

The Traxdata 4X DVD-R are IMHO the best -R discs on the market as Traxdata is owned by Ritek and they come straight out of the Ritek factory so you cannot get purer than that.

Either of the two would be excellent choices (they are the exact same discs that come straight from the factory).
