Question Can a Printer be assembled like a PC?

sponsored links

Ya see, i am about to assemble a new PC this week, but wondered if the same can be done with a new printer, rather than just buying one in box.
It'll be fun to try

If you want to have "fun" have a go at building your own motherboard

yeah, definatly not. back in the dreamcast era, i tried to put it in an old printer
there were so many obscure gears, motors, and other stuff. i think you can put more memory in a printer, but i think that would require to desolder the chip on the mainboard of the printer, then solder new memory in it.

Ahhh, the mother of all tasks
still tho, arn't there a few intact parts on a main-board that are designed to be replaced, like the lithium battery; bios flash-rom chip, an something else i reckon....?
