There are winbackup programs to help you restore lost files. Dont buy the generic ones though, go with a name brand for this.

Stop using the computer as you will run a risk of overwriting the data.

download this app onto another computer and expand the file onto a floppy ********hccweb1.bai.ne.jp/~hcj58401/

run the floppy on the system with the deleted files. If you have a secondary location to restore the file to that is best.

You can probbably retrieve it with software like Norton Utilities or something like it, unless the files are alresy partially overwritten by other data.

The thing is: data s not actually removed by deleting it. The file headers are damaged in such a way, your OS will not recognise them as files, but as empty diskspace, available for writing. Therefore, as long as the files are not overwritten, it is quite easy to retriee them. If they are overwrtiiten however, your files are definately destructed unless you have VERY good connections to governmental services or specialized companies.
Then agian, considering the vlue of the data you deleted, never mind that option... get yourself an original copy for somewhat $25
