hi. i am thinking of getting an external maxtor 250gb hard drive, usb2.0.
can anyone give me any advice on wether i will encounter problems with this? i.e. will my system not recocnise it as it is bigger than say 40gb (read that somewhere).
my processor is a 1600mhz

i am not sure about motherboard,
am i right in thinking i can just buy it and connect using my usb and all will be ok??

Yeah the driver CD should sort you out (if it has one) If you do not get a Disk with it it should work by just plugging it in.
