Default Choices for V9

sponsored links

I rcecently purchased a V9 ps2.............but it seems like I've made a mistake cuz all the mods that I founnd are mostly for V7 or below. The only thing that i've found so far is Magic V and DMs3(extemely expensive).

Does anyone else knows any other mod that would work with V9 ?? Does Duo has a V9 version ?? What would be the cheapest (and best) solution for me...

Thanks

I believe there is also a Messiah 2 chip that is out (or will be out shortly) that works with the Version 9 consoles.

Messiah 2 pro chip v1.33 is the latest chip.
v1.31 had compatability problems with the v9, so stay well clear of that.
(ask the seller what version the chip is!)

It is around £35 to buy, and again that much to install as well.

This is info I've picked up along the way and from other forums too.

They should be...
HOWEVER, after just reading on another site... I WOULDN'T get the v9 chipped just yet!!!!
There are reports of them snuffing up left right and centre,... tests are being done on whether its the components inside the ps2, or if its a particular chip, or both.

Thats why I personally am waiting for it to be 100 % safe. I like my ps2 too much to risk, I'd rather wait!

jesterrace... can I post up a link to this specific thread??? as it seems this site is missing out on a lot of "interesting" discussion? (useful info too)
