Question dvd shrink

if the dvd is already small enough to fit on to a dvd-r,do u still ned to run dvd shrink,as it says on the guide something about svd shrink transcoding?

No you don't. The point of DVD Shrink as the name implies is to shrink, if no shrinking is required then I would suggest you try DVDDecrypter in ISO mode.

Yup, use DVD Shrink if it is over the size limit of the DVD-R and use DVD Decrypter in ISO mode if it is under. You could still use DVD Shrink but it would take a little longer and you will still have to juggle a seperate burning program versus doing everything in DVD Decrypter.

i am new to this, just got a dvd+r/R/W on my new pc, and yes you guessed it i am lost totaly, can anyone point me in the right direction as to how i copy, i have down loaded shrink, but when i do a image no sound comes with it, and how do i get it from pc to dvd, what a nightmare, ruined 8 disks so far!!!!!!!

You need a healthy dose of guide reading. Goto to doom9.org and read the guides there. They have 'all' the answers.

PS. You should always test your image before burning. alcohol 120% and daemon tools (free) allow u to mount an image.

Which audio tracks did you remove? (if any) I tend to run into trouble if I don't leave the ACS3 6 Channel in. I remove all audio tracks but that one and I have yet to have a problem with sound. If I try to remove everything but the DTS or the 2 channel sound then I tend to run into problems.
