apparently I am going senile (I just remebered)
www.dcemulation.com/mactools.htm

There is a program to convert .cue and .bin files to iso files
Toast should handle the .bin files unless the sector size is all screwed up

If there is a problem with the original info the .iso that this program creates will not work either.

If the missing media burner program or dreamcast conversion program doesnt work then you might possibly have a corrupted .bin file

ok,
using the gumby tool binchunker i have created an iso file using only the .bin file(it wont let me combine) that has now dropped some size to 650 mb.Using the iso2mac tool from the mac tools(dreamcast) it let me create another iso file at the same size as the original. No .cue fle was combined -unless it was done automatically. Is the .iso the only form that toast can burn the cd?And also,if it is what option under"other "should i burn the disk on toast?

Did you have a .cue file?
Did you download the gumby instructions?

After you extracted your files it should have had a .cue flie and a .bin file

Toast 5 & 6 should burn both .bin and .iso files Did you get an error the first time when you try to drag the .bin to the window?

Same instructions to burn
Go to the 4th window in toast that says "other"
Left click and Select "disk image"
Drag .iso file to disk image window
Choose record

Ok,
yes ive downloaded all the items you posted including instructions.I managed to apparantly combine the .bin and.cue files with missing media burner. After that the file size is about the same and now the icon for the file has changed to a disk copy .img file.like (FILE.bin.img)Im currently trying to burn that image with missing media burner but it has already ruined a few cds telling me the size of the image is too big,and toast wont even alloow me to burn it because it says the image again is too big?How do i burn it?Again the size is 768mb.
Thanks again for all the help with a newbie mate!

I didnt answer your question huh?
Yes.I did have a cue file, but I put both the cue and bin file in MMB and made one file an .img file named FILE.BIN.IMG,that can now be opened via disk copy since it has its icon. This file is 768mb.The error message on toast says that the file if too big too be wriiten.Specifically it says 403880 sectors needed 359845 available .MMB will allow me to burn it but it stops after a while giving me this error
write track data: error after 756809728 bytes
