Boot from cd. Then when it prompts, install freah copy then delete the partition using the d key, then enter, then L. I assume you dont care if you lose any info from ME.

well i will try that when i get home, but i do remeber deleting something already...they asked me to do something with the cdrive and i def deleted everything on there...i don't care if lose anything...i already deleted everything on the hard drvie b/c windows said it was corrupt....

so you think this will still work? like i said my c drive is already empty at 0%...

i've been trying for ever to get this thing to work, after i select the c drive to be formatted it gives me 4 options (2 of them have the word quick next to them....i'm sorry but i forgot what the others were, somethiing with an f and an N...) ring a bell?....than after it sits there for a bit it gives me this partsmgr.sys crap....

ntfs quick format
fat32 quick format
ntfs
fat32, yes they ring a bell, dont use quick format. You need to delete all partitions, then format using ntfs. It should work then.
