The 1st_read.bins are both the same size for me (5184244). Your might be different because you used isofix. BTW what is DCViewer? I never heard of it.

I was thinking about sorting the files just like my working copy. But I used Isobuster and compared the files. They are all the same size and are all in the same order (Alphabetical order). So using a sort file would be useless.
The only difference is that I did not use a dummy file.
I didn't use one because it's NOT the loading of the game that is super slow, it's the actual game itself that runs slow (Kinda like the Super Nintendo roms run on DreamSNES but to a MUCH worse degree). The actual loading is fine but then there's the other problem, the game won't recognize the buttons being pressed.

I wish you could see what I mean. Email me at hacker3nine@yahoo.com

dcviewer is a homebrew app for dc that can read discs and view jpgs, bmp, png, mp3, txt, etc. a great tool, i use it as a slideshow and to view FAQ's btw. ********homebrew.dcemulation.com

why is my 1st_read.bin bigger?? isofix does this? this is weird.

anyway, i'll check my bootable copy for a hidden toc. the 1st_read.bin is set at lba 45000, but the session starts at 11700. somethings fishy......????

ok, i got it to boot with isofix at lba 11700, finally!!! and i get the same results as you guys. the demo comes up, no buttons work, then a slow-*** demo fight comes up and the energy bar slowly decreases. lol.

funny thing, when the game first boots, it detects for a vmu, if none exists, it tells you to push start and it works. then goes dead during the demo.....?????? now i know there is some kind of protection put in either by capcom or echelon??? i'm gonna try to boot this thing at lba 45000....since the original 1st_read.bin was at that lba.
