Default DVD players with aerial output?


 
Hiay guys i was just wondering my girl friend really wants to get herself a dvd player but the thing is her tv is so old that it doesnt have a scart socket. i was just wondering what players are out there that have the aerial output (i think it is UHF) so that i can get her one.

i dont know if such a thing is available but can you buy a scart-->aerial converter?!

hi does the tv have s-video connector. where you plug a camcorder into. if so you can buy a lead that will connect to your dvd player to the tv. should work that way. if not tv's are cheap anyway.

I have seen something at maplin.co.uk that will work so if there arent ne dvd players out there then i could always just get that. It is something like ish said basically takes in scart or ne of the other types of output and outputs that as a aerial type.

I am a bit worried though as i could have swarn there were some players out there that did have aerial output themselves. I even saw them on 'this morning' before christmas. Oh well thanx neway guys

has she got a vcr? connect dvd to vcr via scart, connect vcr to tv via coax, tune tv to video channel, select aux input on video.

however:you would have to buy a dvd player that is capable of macrovision disable via its remote control (easily available).

just a thought?
