how to reboot the whole computer

my sis has a custom build pc, she wnats to reboot it
how u do that?
what are the steps to del the c drive and putting xp back on
i dont know much about rebooting, my com has a reboot disk so it does all the work

REBOOT is a term used to restart the computer

What you are after is to wipe everything and to install XP, what you need to do is to set the CDROM as the first bootable device (settings are under the BIOS settings), then pop in the CDROM and restart the computer, during the installation, XP will ask you what to do with your hard drive, one of teh option is to FORMAT the drive (with FAT or NTFS , depend on your choice), when you choose this option, it will more or less erase everything on your computer and install XP fresh.

FAT and NTFS are file systems. You could choose to use either one. To enter the BIOS you need to press a key when the computer is just starting up. You will see the the writing on the screen, then press the key right away. Which key it is varies though. Here's a listing...
