pioneer a06 problem

my burner doesnt read any type of dvds or cds.
everything is normal just that it doesnt read anything
does anyone know what is the problem?

How are the jumpers set on your drives?

i try putting in both slave and master
the burner was working fine
and then a few hours later i try to burn something again and it wont read the blank,
i;ve try putting other dvds and cds in but it still wont read...i try re-installing software,replugging the dvdburner still wont work!..
