Default n64 emulator help please (doesnt recognize roms)

hey all hope you can help me here ive loaded the n64 emulator onto my harddrive loaded all the roms into the roms folder but when i start the emulator it doesnt find any roms i downloaded all the roms and the extensions on them are usa ie mario.usa is this correct or do i have to change the extensions cheers for any help

if you are using the surreal64 emu then I read something about editting the ini file. You may want to look into this. It might be what your problem is. I haven't tried it yet so I can't say for sure.

I have installed and edit the "surreal.ini" but i cant get it to work....i dont know if i shall make a folder called ROMS or i only shall put the games in the Surreal64 dir where there is the other files.I have my Emulators in F:\Emulators.Maybe here is one who can help me out..what to do?!?

You have to make a folder called Roms in your surreal 64 directory and put your roms in there before you ftp to your HD or burn onto disk.

If any of the roms have different file extentions other than .v64 (e.g .z64 or USA) then they might not work so just rename them all to .v64.
