From the testing i have done it seems that as long as the rom name ends with (U) (!) it doesnt really matter what the file extention is either .v64 or .z64 or .USA

I give up....i have done all that you´ve told me but without any luck,i changed the dir to F:/Apps/Emulators/n64 emulator/Roms and it didnt work.Later i tried to put it on E:/ but without luck...i tried also D:/.....I never thought it should be so hard to install or is it me who is very stupid...but i usual can handle difficulty situations with my computer but this is so damn frustrated.Dont know which extension the files should have though...is it usa,v64 or rom??I think im going on your nerves....

sigge just do this
1. install the emulator to whichever partition you like on your xbox
2. find the path to your roms file i(it maybe different to mine) use file explorer to find where your roms file is
3. then extract your surreal ini file and your ultra ini file from your xbox
4. edit them so that the rom file path in the ini files is correct and then ftp them back to your xbox
5. install all your roms into your roms folder (extension for roms .usa)
6. restart your xbox run the emulator and that should be it

hope this helps thats all i did with mine and it works perfectly

my god, all you have to do is edit the surreal.ini so the rom path is D:\Roms !

no matter where u install it.

delete the save for surreal 64 in the ms dashboard.

also , it dont matter what extension the roms are, i have multiple different ones. .rom , .z64 ....etc
