I use the AverMedia Gold. You set your Karaoke screen to the smallest size (320x240), and place it in the corner of your desktop. Then zoom the AverMedia to that spot, and that's all you see on TV monitor.

You work on the rest of the desktop.

The AverMedia's are not dual screen. They plug in between your normal monitor (external vga port), and convert the signal from digital to ****og and send it to TV screen. Your computer fuctions just like normal.

Smile PC Karaoke

I do Karaoke 2 times a week. It is a part time hobby for me. I have been doing it for 5 years now. Been doing it 1 1/2 years on a PC. There is no way I would go back to doing it with disc's again.
I built a Shuttle computer from a barebone. I have a AMD 2800 Cpu
512 Meg Memory
2 120 gb hard drives
N Videa Graphics on board
I run a 15" flat panel monitor (Walmart $167.00)
Plextor 712A DVD CDR Writer
I run the Karaoke show with Hoster 3.0 software. I don't think you can find any better software than Hoster to run a Karaoke show
I have 10,050 songs on the hard drive, and have plenty of space left.
I have the 2nd hard drive cloned to the first incase the main hard drive ever crashes. Click [URL=***********.mtu.com/]here to go to MTU's site. They have any software you need to run a Karaoke show or copy Karaoke disc's. Their software is the best I've ever used. I have tryed just about all of them. They even sell computer's with the software installed. Laptop, Shuttle or a rack mount computer.

Default Tangentbang buzz?

Tangentbang I'm using the WinAmp/Sax n Dotty combination with the Pacemaker plugin to handle pitch changes. Also I am using the headphone jack for audio.I had a power supply hum and buzz. A ground wire from my mixeramp to my DELL Lattitude took are of the problem.

I use audiograbber with either my Plextor or HP9100 burner.
