And unlike running XP on a FAT32 formatted drive you simply don't get B.S.O.D.'s

hang on i actually haven't used dvdshrink 3.1.x yet but the last couple of dvd's i did on dvd shrink 3beta5, it dawned on me that you could remove the end credits using the start end feature option.

i'm not sure if the sart end editing feature is only applicable in certain types of streams but it seems to me that surely if you make the start and end points the same place or however many frames apart that is the minimum increment, then you are essentially deleting that extra.

it only occured to me recently when i was doing a movie only rip of two towers, been a bit busy with work so haven't actually tried this yet with the new dvd shrink but will have a go on one of my retail dvds in the next couple of days, and post any results if it works, unless someone would like to try it out and report their findings.

ps this way you can also use dvd shrink to do full back ups of a large dvd-r over two discs- just remember where you specified the end of the movie on the first disc and start it from there on the second disc

Cause it works better. People using 98 or ME write messages asking why it gives them one message or the other.

Closing this now so people don't think this is the very latest version.

Post all other stuff in the DVD Shrink 3.1.2 thread please.
