Default Need help on deciding on a mod chip...

sponsored links

Hey all. I used to have a Neo 2.2 modded console, but I have recently sold it for some money. Anyway, as a result, I am looking to purchase a new No-Swap console, but need help deciding on which chip to get. I have not been following the PS2 Scene so I am not aware of what new chips have come about or how much they cost. Here is what I would like the chip to do:

Play DVDRS/CDRS No Swap
Be able to go online (So I think it needs a switch?)

LOL..well that's about all I want it to do..any help appreciated on deciding a new chip. Basically I am looking for a chip that does those features and the estimated price. Thanks all!

I'm not sure. I'm planning on buying a pre mod off someone on **********, but I need help deciding what chip I should invest in. I need a ps2 that can play online so if there isn't a modchip that can be disabled when I go online, I'll just say screw the chip cuz Resident Evil Outbreak comes out in a few months

I say just go for the Magic V. One of the best mods out there. I'd least I think so =P You can turn off the chip (sleep mode) and turn it back on for PS2/PS1/DVD Movie play. Also works fine with DVD-9.

www.modchip.ca
or
www.modchip.us (For US ppl of course, it's the same site with US pricing)

You can buy it there. For other types of modchips umm...Ask other ppl lol
