thanks. I already tried the MaxBlast cd and for some reason it didnt do the trick. I'll take one more shot with WINXP - then I'll go with Win2000.

Try it again, but if it doesn't work, try [url=www.aefdisk.com][b]AefDisk[/b], a command line partioning tool.

Remember Windows will show the 40GB drive as 38.1GB or so and 160GB as 152.5GB.

Post back if you have other ???

This should only be related to networking usually.

Very strange.

Can you go through the [b]exact[/b] steps you did?
