Default How to search inside 'archive' files?

If youve got a folder full of say CAB files, then how can you search for a single file within all them in one go.?

It is done using "Extract" command. You will have to give Extract /? as I don't remember it exactly. HTH!

I'm sure you asked this question in another forum, but I really don't care at the moment.

Just open with WinRar and you can view the contents.

NOPE - your'e both speaking of 'viewing' them - but i ask of SEARCHING them.

note the word 'search' above - not view.
see.?

i'm looking for a GREP prog but one that looks for files not text within.

understand?

These guys ***********.zipscan.co.uk/ claim to be able to seach within cab files, plus it's trialware.

VLC & Insomniac, you two play nicely or I'm going to have to seperate you again.
