Ok m8s its all sorted now ..........burning at top speed and loving it...........oh u want to know how i fix it........well first problem was an EXPERT who installed the drive put the ide cable in the wrong way and damged one of the pins in the back of the drive .......after i fix the pin and installed xp everything worked fine ............so there must be a lesson here for someone.
