I dont touch any media that isnt at least RITEK and then I try to avoid the overprints, you can get 4x Printable RITEK media for under 70p per disc, I think thats pretty cheap.

Yup ... not a Ritek in sight on their website ..... wouldn't touch the stuff, especially not for movie backup. Too cheap n' nasty !!

Stick to Riteks ....... 4 X G04's can now be had for 64p at SVP.

Lordofthedeals isn't straight with it's customers. No experieneced member here will buy from them. They advertise thier Infinity DVD-R as Ritek discs when in fact they carry the Sony dye (or lower quality). As mentioned above you can buy DVD-Rs dirt cheap but who knows if they will work for you.

So Sony is not a good media? I'm in the US and the local Staples store has a 10 pack 4x Memorex dvd for $10 and $15 for a Sony brand. I know that Memorex are really bad with their cdrs, but I don't know about their dvdrs' quality. Can anyone comment on this? Thanks.
