Default Can I boot in DOS w/o Floppy/CD-R/etc.

sponsored links

My Floppy drive is not working. the only disk i have (just bought it tho)

I try to make a DOS boot disk, and it says, "An unexpected I/O error has occurred"

Regular format it says "Windows was unable to complete the format"

...

I've used it before, but only once when it was new back in July.

I was thinking the same thing Richskie but find it easier to ask people to try another, that way you know it is all going to get unplugged and reattached

Well to answer you original question...yes, if you have windows me or lower. When the computer is booting up rapidly press F8 and a menu will come up. Again, only for Me, 98, 95.
